Townhouse or not

Happy Thursday Everyone,

I am interested in purchasing a home and finally being done with monthly rent payments that I have nothing to show for...but I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of buying a townhouse versus a single family, detached home, and I'm having a difficult time. I can think of many great things that a townhouse has to offer--the constancy of the housing establishment, the freedom of not having to maintain everything, etc, but at the same time, there is something about having your house directly abutted to another one that bothers me. I'm really having trouble deciding.

Mississauga

No, that's not a really poor spelling attempt of Mississippi in the title there. Mississauga is a city in Ontario. It's beautiful in Ontario, I went on vacation with my family there twice when I was younger. If I wasn't so in love with the US, I might consider moving up to that region. In that case I'd need to check me out some mississauga homes ...this is a very useful web site compiling all the available housing for sale in the area. It's like one stop shopping for the house of your dreams. I hope sites like these are a trend in the internet world, because they benefit everyone involved (selllers and buyers). Credit Cards Part Deux
