Happy New Year's Eve

Hi there everyone I hope all of you have great plans for New Year's Eve. Tina and I are not going to Times Square as we had planned, but we are doing a really cool all-inclusive night out. We're both really excited, even though neither of us have dates to bring. I got a brand new outfit too. I'm starting to be able to shop at the normal stores, and it's so empowering! Tanya

Sproose.com

Image
Ever heard of Sproose.com? I hadn't, and in fact, that word never even crossed my mind for a website name. But check out the Sproose home page and you'll see that it's a really awesome website theat you'll wonder how you went so long without! With all of the buzz lately about interactive search personalization , Wikiasari, and social search, Sproose actually has integrated the interactive search personalizatino into a working model where the user can interact with the ranking of the search results. Sproose has built it's own index and now allows each user to vote a website a score from 1 (poor) to 5 stars (excellent). After voting, the search result will move up in the index immediaelty based upon the vote score given. This is so much cooler than just seeing hits depending on the number/quality of links that given site has--it's personalized to the max! Basically, it let's each user create a personal index of their favorite sites when they serch a keywor

A great Friday

Well, it's certainly a great day. Not only is it Friday, with nice weather (unless you live in Denver, that is), but there are also great pickings on PayPerPost! I was noticing that good advertisments were hard to come by in the last few weeks, and I was worried that they were struggling, but now it seems that they will do just fine. I'm pleased about that. Tanya

The osCommerce Cafe

The The osCommerce Cafe is your leader in osCommerce solutions. They are the largest osCommerce template membership site on the internet, so I thought it was a pertinent thing to discuss. Members to our website have full access to all our templates, unlimited downloads, and no per-product fees. Indeed, customers can sign up for a three month, six month or one year membership during which time they get to download as many osCommerce templates as they like (they currently have 70--TONS to choose from!). And they're not just 70 duds, they are really vibrant and eye catching templates. I checked out the site and saw a sampling of what they have to offer in the way of osCommerce templates, and I was really impressed! Each template is well organized and flows with the line of sight, and plus, the colors just cannot be beat. They are bright and noticeable, but not so much that they take away from the information at hand. They really are the best quality templates I've ever seen

Hi everyone

I just learned all about body mass index, or BMI, and I thought I would share some information with you. For women, a BMI or about 22 is desirable, and is in the normal weight range--i.e. not too thin, whereas men typically shoot for a BMI of about 25. Anyway, to calculate it, you can go to various sites (do a Google search for BMI), or you can just take your weight and divide it by your height in inches twice and then multiply it by 703. Tanya

HP Postie Patrol

Good evening everyone! HP and PPP hit Chicago for a very special holiday season Postie Patrol. In the following video, Ted and Michael from HP hook up a Postie with some GREAT prizes via a multimedia scavenger hunt in Chicago. It's really an awesome Postie Patrol--perhaps the best yet. I loved it, and I'm sure you'll love it too. The scavenger hunt requires Robin, the contestant, to find some really funny things--including of course, holiday things like Santa Claus, but also a person in shorts, and a sausage with peppers and onions. Trust me, you'll like this one, it's hilarious! If you like this video, let your friends at PayPerPost know! And remember, YOU can also participate in a Postie Patrol for a chance to win HP Gear such as Digital Photo Printing !! Enjoy! Tanya Thanks for reading. This has been a sponsored post, brought to you by HP.

What to wear for New Year's Eve

Hi there, I was thinking about it, and I've decided to get a nice new dress for New Year's Eve. My friend Tina and I are thinking about driving out to Times Square and seeing the ball drop, then getting a pass at one of those all night hotel parties. I've never done such an extravagant thing for New Years, but since I've come so far on my weight loss journey, I thought I would treat myself. What do you think? Tanya

PayPerPost gets Performancing

Image
Hello there, Have you heard the news? PayPerPost recently announced that they will be acquiring Performancing.com, Performancing Metrics and Performancing Exchange. These applications can all be found on Performancing.com, and represent an innovative suite of functions catered for professional bloggers to conduct their blog advertising . I have used these websites and products before, and I must say, I'm relieved that PayPerPost is taking over, because I think they will do a great job of improving the already-innovative ideas begun by Performancing and extending the audience to smaller companies or greener bloggers. You can read all about the new PayPerPost acquisition here . Performancing has lots of features that are innovative and important to those wishing to make professional blog publishing into a career. For instance, they offer a full featured Blog Editor built right into your browser, they have a great algorithm for you to get your blog statistics (called Performanci

Good morning

Hi there, Well, it's early morning, but I thought I would get up to go for a walk around the lake, because it's a beautiful day, and it's a great way to get some exercise outside of the gym. Enjoy the day Tanya

Keystroke Loggers

Good evening, It's a great time to discuss keystroke logger s! You probably already know that keystroke loggers can be a great benefit to others, but you might not know all the ways--for instance, if you are a parent--especially of teenagers--it is important that you know what your children are doing on the computer. For instance, are they posting personal information on their blogs or talking with suspicious persons? It's important that you know about your teens' online activity, and keystroke loggers will help you do exactly that. On the other hand, what if you're an employer? Employers could use keystroke loggers for monitoring employee activity to make certain they are staying within the companies Internet Acceptable Use policy. And if course, for your own personal convenience, keystroke loggers can be used to record anything ranging from web sites you visit to passwords you regularly type in. The possibilties really are endless, and you'll be much more "

Happy Holidays

I hope you all had nice, relaxing holidays. I just got back from my parents' house, and now I have to get back to working on this really important box model. If I don't get it approved, I'll be out of a job, which I am really worried about. Anyway, I won't even get to celebrate new year's eve because I'll be working so hard, but hopefully the holidays will be better next year. Tanya

Cool Bug Stuff

Image
Like those images? I'll tell you, if there's one thing kids are fascinated with, it's bugs. And educators and the business world have teamed up to bring your children into close contact with all kinds of bugs with CoolBugStuff.com . CoolBugStuff.com is in the business of educating and fascinating children with nature's most abundant creatures...Bugs! They are a new company, and in order to recruit interested children and their parents to their products, the company has free information, resources, and cool bug related educational products all available to you for a limited time. In general, CoolBugStuff.com sells science and bug related kits, toys, games, clothes, books, and even edible bugs for the home and the classroom. They really are the one stop shop for all your fascinating bug needs! And if you live in the south Florida region, they will even come to your school and do Creepy Crawly Bug Adventure shows for grades K-5! That's an offer I haven't seen

An annoying thing

Hi there, I just submitted a great post for PayPerPost, and I got an error message saying that the opportunity had ended. I was so frustrated because I thought that each time you click on an opportunity, you have it for 30 minutes, but what probably happened was that I got the opportunity, but I technically submitted it after midnight, and the opportunity must have only been up for Tuesday. I'm still very annoyed, though. Tanya

Myspace.com

Even if don't have a teenager, you've probably heard about Myspace, the site where youths--and also deranged adults--can socialize together and post information about themselves--like an online diary. At their age, many teenagers are going through exhibitionist phases, and their audiences are often given provacative images or information about them. It's obvious that this is a dangerous component of Myspace, especially since many pages are open to anyone with an account. Luckily, there is Spector Pro monitoring software. This software is award winning (PC Magazine) and works hard to keep MySpace safe by recording myspace chat conversations. And it's not just going to record your child's conversation, like a key logger would, but rather both sides, so you know exactly what went on. Spector Pro is the only full featured monitoring software that I've ever found in which every activity your child partakes in through MySpace.com is duly recorded. There are tons of

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone Merry Christmas--for this year, I am resolving to lose more weight and I hope that I'm successful in that! So far, since I started my weight loss journey, I have lost 15 pounds, and I hope to bring it to 50 by the time 2007 is over. Happy Holidays Tanya

Audio Resume

Image
I always like telling potential consumers about great offers, and if you're hoping to Learn More About Audio Resume , and if you're currently between jobs and are looking for a new career, then you've come to the right place... Audio Resume is a unique product that lets job seekers verbally express their credentials and professional aspirations. The job seeker creates their Audio Resume by dialing into a given toll-free number and answering five general interview questions. It's really pretty awesome, and I checked it out and found that it was very user friendly and easy to set up. Once created, employers can access the job seekers Audio Resume simply by browsing to their unique URL to hear the audio file. Picture uploads are optional. This is a low cost and highly effective alternative to video resumes. Make sure you check it out to help you in the job search! GOod luck! Tanya

Hi there

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know about a great trick for making cookies nice and soft. Just put a piece of bread over them and let the cookies absorb the bread--in just a few hours, the cookies will be soft and chewy. Wonderful. Tanya

RockStartUp

Unless you've had your head buried in a hole these last few days, you'd know that the PayPerPost RockStartUp reality show has been going on, along with the RockStartUp puzzle, which was won by a certain Colleen this afternoon...I'm still a little depressed about it, but hopefully more puzzles will be to come and I'll have another chance at a cool one thousand dollars. And in other news, if you're looking for some good quality entertainment, then check out the third installment of RockStartUp below. They just keep getting better and better! This one is really hilarious...it might just be my favorite one so far. I love seeing how the "cast" interacts and how comedy ensues. These people are really genuine, and just so much fun to watch. But I don't want to give the entire plot away, just watch it for yourself! This has been a PayPerPost sponsored post.

Water birth

Wow, I just watched a water birth on YouTube, I couldn't believe it, how the baby comes out and doesn't need to breathe until he is removed from the water. It's really interesting, but looks horribly painful. I don't think I would ever want to do that. Yikes. Have a good night Tanya

YouTuber

You really need to check out payperpost 's YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/payperpost. I recently watched Ted's and it's amazing to hear all about his life as a child--it turns out he was a heavy child and he couldn't even get into the football team because he was TOO heavy. I couldn't believe that, because I always used to think that it's better to be heavy as a football player, but I guess there are limits to everything. So, if you are or were a heavy person, then Ted comisserates with you. He actually talks about when he was trying to pass the weigh in and he would eat a huge plate of asparagus since it is a diuretic--gross... Anyway, here it is: Take care, and have a great night Tanya This has been a PayPerPost sponsored post.

Christmas

I cannot believe that it's almost Christmas and soon I'll be going to my parents' house for Christmas Eve. I'm really excited and I'm getting ready to clean out the car to fill it up with presents! Yay! Tanya

Camera

So I recently went to my sister's graduation, and I had my old dinky camera out to take some digital photos and you'll never guess what happened....everyone starting pointing at me and laughing because my camera looks like it came from the stone age. No, actually nothing happened. It worked fine, but the really important thing is that when I got home, I dropped it and it shattered into a million pieces. No just kidding again, nothing happened when I got home. I developed the pictures through some online place like WalMart or something, I don't even remember, and then when the pictures arrived at my doorstep, ALL OF OUR FACES WERE REMOVED FROM THEM LIKE WE WERE GHOSTS OR SOMETHING. No, lying again...anyway, the thing is that although I have a functional camera, and I really can't say anything horribly bad about it, and although I'm not starving or suffering from any terminal diseases that I know of, I'd really like a new camera, because mine just doesn'

PayPerPost Puzzle

Hi there everyone I am currently trying to solve the PayPerPost puzzle, and I have all the pieces except for 2 and 4. Now, I know that 4 should be coming out tomorrow morning--but I cannot seem to find 2. Is someone hiding it??!! Tanya

Sharea.com

Image
The following is a sponsored post. Hi there readers, I just have to tell you all about Sharea.com , an awesome social sharing-community site that has recently launched! This site is unlike any other you've seen--it's truly innovative in so many ways. It's a social networking web 2.0 site and it's absolutely determined to bring a fresh approach in user-friendly, interactive media sharing communities to the web. The web should be a friendly place where users can share non-copyrighted media freely and without worry about viruses and breaches of personal security and the like. Sharea is the first site to really get close to that. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in safe, fun media sharing. Sharea.com lives up to the hype! It's got an awesome 6 in 1 service, which includes: Social Networking, Media Sharing, Media Blogging, Dating, Storage, Instant Messaging. You really need to check out this site for yourself to fully appreciate the innovati

The PayPerPost Puzzle

Hi there folks So you may know about the PayPerPost puzzle that's going on...I was hoping that some of you could tell me where all these pieces are going?! I cannot seem to find them, although I check PayPerPost all the time. I looked on Google Blog and can only find of a few of them. Is it too late? Should I just give up? I was really hoping for a cool grand! Tanya

What would I do without credit cards

The following is a sponsored post. Hi Everyone, In this time of crazed-holiday-gift-buying, it's important to talk about credit cards . Now, I know that they can be a boon or a poison for people--if you're in credit card debt up to your ear lobes, you probably curse the day you ever got the letter saying you were approved in the mail. However, if you're like me and you spend wisely and always pay off your balance at the end of the month, then you might think that credit cards are wonderful--like I do! For instance, with credit cards, you don't need to worry about carrying a lot of cash if you need to make some big purchases, and you don't need to remember to bring your check book everywhere. And if you are wrongfully charged for something, you can dispute it, which you obviously cannot do with cash. In fact, I think that credit cards are in many ways more secure than just paying with cash--as long as you're careful to only order things through secure sites,

Coffee time

Hi there, Tanya here. I'm just waiting for my coffee to brew so I can get back to work. So like I said in a previous post. My sister just found out that she was accepted into her dream school, and she's going to go, so if any of you want to donate any money to her college fund, it would be greatly appreciated! Maybe if you get some extra PayPerPosts that you don't need or something... Tanya

Maternity Card by AHCO

As you know, for the longest time, I've been discussing consumer issues with regard to buying gifts for your friends and family for the holiday season. I've tried to find the best companies and the best deals for you. But on an altogether different consumer issue, I would like to discuss the Cost of Having a Baby . This might sound inane, since people don't really think of babies as consumer issues, but the truth is that babies are very expensive, especially in the prenatal/perinatal period, when unexpected medical expenses can leave people with perilously low bank accounts. That why, when expecting a baby, it's important to have a comprehensive maternity service package. If you are an expecting woman, check out MaternityCard, where experts can formulate a maternity benefits package tailored specifically to YOUR needs. For all of those expecting mothers out there, best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and for a healthy, happy baby. Make sure to check out Mater

Monday evening

I cannot believe how quickly the time is going by before Christmas. I remember when I was a little kid and it seemed like the weeks preceding Christmas dragggged on. Well, I'm glad that I might have been able to help some of you consumers with my suggestions for holiday gifts. In only a week, the Christmas season will be over, and I cannot believe it! Enjoy the final week of gift-buying before the holiday hits in full swing Tanya

Ohio State BCS

Image
Hi there, As you know, I'm a resident of Springfield, Ohio, so of course I am very excited about the Ohio State BCS National Championship in my home state. If you're also an Ohio resident, or just someone interested in getting Ohio State BCS National Championship Tickets , the you should know that in order for someone to purchase BCS National Championship tickets at face value, a donor must contribute $2500 per year. This exorbitant amount is only made larger by the the cost of season tickets (roughly $600/pair), plus face value for the BCS Championship tickets ($550/pair). It's really enormous. But you don't have to go to such great lengths and empty your bank account to see the National Championship! A site called ineedtwo.com is the cheapest broker on the internet and you can get tickets there that are truly cheaper than almost ANY OTHER WEBSITE. You really cannot lose, and you're going to love the price you get from them. If you've tried the rest, you

A great thing

Hi there, I just found out that my little sister got into her favorite college, early decision, and she's really excited. So today is a wonderful day. Tanya

What is Powerflux?

Image
Hi there readers: What does Interactive Agency mean to you? They recently allowed bloggers to discuss what it meant to them, and below is my interpretation. The figure is the icon used by Interactive Agency , called the Powerflux. The wonderful people at MindComet suggested that it might be used as a frisbee or a necktie, but I thought of something much more plausible... Let me know what you think of my interpretation....a great dog-sedation tool. As soon as I put it into my dogs crate, the calming shape put her at ease! The best thing since KONGS! Tanya This post brought to you on behalf of MindComet

Another Great Song

Well, Justin Timberlake just did another great song, and now the show is almost over. Every time he hosts, I love it! And I was hoping that Jimmy Fallon would come back to the show for a cameo and to do the Barry Gibbs talk show and he did! Plus Cameron Diaz was there of course--I don't like her black hair...but anyway. I am going to go to bed now, so have a nice night! Tanya

PayPerPost Disclosed!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know a new bit of information about PayPerPost. Starting very soon, with every ad you leave, you'll have to note that this is a sponsored post. The feds have been trying to crack down on un-disclosed advertising, and in order to prevent from getting in trouble, PayPerPost is going full disclosure. The news broke on the Tech Crunch blog tonight, so check it out for yourself. Official release will be available on Monday. http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/12/16/payperpost-does-something-right/ By the way, in case you didn't notice, Tech Crunch does not have a very good opinion of PayPerPost, and I really don't understand why. Just because bloggers are being paid to ad a few sponsored posts to their blogs doesn't mean that readers have to read through all of them. And really, there are advertisements everywhere you look, so why should the blog-o-sphere be any different? We are a consumer-driven advertisement-permeated world. And pers

Wow it's late

Hi there everyone I am just hanging out at home and watching Saturday Night Live, and I must say that I really love Justin Timberlake. He is the host and the muscial guest today, and he's absolutely awesome. If you're not watching it yet, turn it on now!! Tanya

London

Image
Hi there readers, I have to tell you all about an absolutely amazing vacation that I had the chance to take, and the wonderful lodging that made it all that much better. I recently had the opportunity to visit London Westminster and I must say that it was probably the most amazing travelling I've ever done in my entire life. The sites there are really spectacular, and the culture cannot be beat. I never heard so many people speaking in different languages in all my life. The government buildings are guilded and very vertical. If you are an architecture buff, then you really cannot miss the sights there. And of course, right in the area is Big Ben--did you know that Big Ben is actually the name of the bell, not the name of the clock? Anyway, hearing it chime is an experience that cannot be likened to anything else, you just have to check it out yourself. And right in London is the London Eye, a pricy but magnificent trip on a tremendous, elegant ferris wheel of sorts, in whic

Sunday plans

Hello I was hoping that I would be able to go on a blind date tomorrow because I was thinking that I need a date for the New Year's eve party. I am really excited because Tina told me that she could set me up with someone, so hopefully the plan will be that tomorrow we'll go out for lunch or something and I'll see where it goes. Enjoy the weekend Tanya

PINKS VIDEO

Image
Hey everyone Check out my new video—I really love my car, but right now it’s getting repairs done on it—so instead, my video had to be just an audio description of it. By the way, I really love www.speedtv.com/pinks and you should too! If you’re interested in seeing PINKS for some great Drag Racing , you’re in luck because there i sure to be another PINKS marathon on www.speedtv.com soon. The previous PINKS marathon on www.speedtv.com was on Nov 23, 2006. Did you catch it? This is a paid opportunity, sponsored by Speedtv.com" somewhere in your post enjoy the weekend, Tanya

Happy weekend

Well here it is, the last weekend before the holiday season really starts. Have you finished all your shopping? I only have to bake some more cookies, and then I am completely done. One unfortunate thing is that I didn't get a chance to put a Christmas tree up this year, but instead I have a big picture of the Rockefeller center tree on my desktop. It's gorgeous. Tanya

Chicago Cubs

I recently wrote about the Giants, and I realized that there are other fans out there too--CUBS FANS!! I didn't want to neglect you, so I thought it would be important to also discuss ...dum da da dum.... Chicago Cubs Spring Training Tickets of course! Now I haven't attended a Cubs spring training event, but I would really love to go. In fact, I don't know anyone who has, but I'm sure it's a wild ride. I have a few friends who are really dedicated Cubs fans, and I was recently thinking about getting them tickets to see Spring training. What would you recommend--getting them tickets even though I can't afford the best seats, or getting them something else altogether? I would really like to buy them an "experience" for Christmas, and I think this would be one of the most amazing ones they ever had. If you're a Cubs fan, make sure you look into Spring Training tickets--you'll be glad you did! Tanya

Hi there

Well, it's the last weekend before Christmas eve. What do you all have planned? I am going to try to buy the last gifts I need to get and then wrap up everything. I won't be leaving home for the holidays until Christmas Eve, but I want to get all the wrapping done ASAP, because I consider it a huge hassle that I just want to get over with! Tanya

SF Giants Spring Training

Is there a sports fan in your life? I don't think there is a better gift you could get them than SF Giants Spring Training tickets . I have a good friend who is a HUGE Giants fan (aren't they all?) and when she attended the San Francisco Giants Spring Training last year, she came back as an even bigger fan than before. She said it was the most fun experience she ever had, and she really make me want to attend a Spring Training event sometime soon, too. When she got tickets, her seats weren't very good, but she really had a blast anyway, and I think that although I would rather have great seats, I would take any tickets to see Giants Spring Training. So if you are looking to get some last minute gifts for those hard-to-buy-for people in your like, consider tickets to the Giants Spring Training! I guarantee it'll be one of the best gifts they got that year! Tanya

Enjoying Friday

Today we get to dress down at work, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm so sick of those starched button down jackets we usually have to wear, so this dress down is a welcome relief. Enjoy your weekend! Tanya

DVD Recorders and Players Guide

Hey everyone Are you interested in getting others a great gift for Christmas? Well, here's a tip, get them DVD Recorders and Players Guide along with a great new DVD player! The DVD Recorders and Players Guide has been launched to offer advice and information regarding the latest DVD recorder and player models. If you're like me, and not competely technologically advanced, then this would be an absolute boon to you when looking for a new player. It covers the latest technology including Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player s . I personally have no experience in that, so I would love to learn more about blu-ray. I think they are like DVDs but perhaps a bit better resolution, but I don't know what kind of players they use. Two links are required with the following link texts: So check out the DVD Recorders and Players Guide . Enjoy! Tanya

Still playing...

Those puppies are still in there playing with the squeaky cat. I swear that soon I am going to grow to hate that sound. Hopefully they'll tear it apart soon and I can throw it in the garbage! Haha Tanya

BuildASign

Hi everyone, I have to tell you all about this great new idea for making your own signs. For my brother's birthday, I made him a sign with a quote that I knew he would really like, and the sign turned out really cool. BuildASign is a custom builder of signage. The linked page of their site allows you to choose a banner size, customize the look of it, and order it very quickly and easily. So you really have nothing to lose! Just make sure you check them out next time you need someone to take care of your Interested in posts from any blogs that cover business issues. Toys for the dogs

Hi everyone I just got some toys for my two dogs and they are really having a blast. I got this cat that you can rip apart and then velcro back together and it really squeaks loudly. I also got them some chew toys. Tanya

Professional Bull Riders Finals

I just found what I think might be the best Christmas present in the history of the world... tickets to the Professional Bull Riders !!! And if you're interested, you've come to the right blog. The PBR Finals, also known as the Professional Bull Riders Finals is in Las Vegas, and I hear that it's AWESOME. Have you ever seen a real Houston Rodeo? Well, you need to go to Las Vegas to see one. Unfortunately for me, I've never attended the Professional Bull Riders World Finals, but boy would I love to. I definitely know all about them, and have followed the PBR finals closely for the past few years. But it's always been a dream of mine to actually attend one of the rodeos, so I was thrilled to get the chance to blog about it. Leave a comment if you've been to one, I'd love to know what it's like to actually be in the stands, rather than reading about it the next day. But anyway, if you're still looking for a last minute Christmas gift, how about

A PayPerPost Primer

In case you're wondering, PayPerPost is a great place where you can blog all you want and get your posts sponsored. But you can only post twice a day, and now it's only 12:04 AM and I'm already getting ready for my second post of the day, that's nuts. Enjoy! Tanya, in the wee hours of the morning

Puppies vs PayPerPost!

Can you believe it?! It's a full on battle between some vicious canines and PayPerPost incarnate (this time as a mechanical, flipping, toy dog...too many adjectives?). Check out the carnage...you can even hear the yelps from PayPerPost in other other room during the "finishing off" phase. This video-making thing is fun, I'm glad I started doing it! And it's all thanks to PayPerPost, where you can get paid for blogging , and it's so very easy. Make sure to watch, and check out PayPerPost--they're the best! Tanya

Late night

Wow, I can't believe I'm still awake this late at night. I'm usually an early-to-bed-early-to-rise type of person, but for some reason, I've had a tough time getting to sleep for the past few weeks. Well, at least the sun hasn't come up yet--I'm such an insomniac lately. ZZZZZ Tanya

another date?

Hi there, Well I have been talking about going on another date with this guy that Tina set me up with, and I just got a great new skirt-it's compeltely pleated and I love it. So I am really looking forward to the date. I hope it ends well, because right now I have no one to take to the holiday party at the office. Tanya

A video for you

Hey everyone, Check out my PayPerPost video! You know, you two can get paid to make videos at PayPerPost.com, and it's so easy! So make sure you check them out, and let me know what you think of my first video...two spoiled puppies of the PayPerPost generation...generation P! Enjoy! Tanya

Puppies

I received some emails about people who were annoyed with my puppy store comment, but I stand by it. I think that some places have no respect for animals, and that they are kept in tiny cages with horrible ventilation and with no stimulation from humans, other than those peering through the glass windows. What do you think? Let's get some comments from others on this site! By the way, I am still down 8 pounds, in case anyone came to this blog to learn about my weight loss. Tanya

Interested in Equity ? As most investors are aware, the SW Florida real estate market has experienced tremendous growth and appreciation over the last few years. Although this growth has been extremely rewarding for most investors, it has also created a significant problem of affordable housing for the working class community. Today, affordable housing is considered by many in government and industry as one of the most significant problems affecting the Florida market. Shop owners, restaurants, hospitals and schools are finding it extremely difficult to find employees because of the high cost of housing. Although the affordable housing problem is significant, it also creates an excellent investment opportunity to enter the market during the front end of an affordable housing growth cycle. I want to tell you about a group who has created a business model that helps address the affordable housing issue while also providing a significant investment opportunity to qualified investors The

Pet Shop

Today I went to the pet shop in the mall, and there were tons of cute puppies, but I couldn't believe the decrepit conditions they were kept it. Really horrible. I could never buy a puppy from there and give those types of people my money. Happy Holidays Tanya

Proxyshield

Image
Hi everyone, I thought you all should know about ProxyShield DDoS Protection Mitigation Service which you can find at Gigenet. It's an affordable service that stops DDoS attacks. Proxyshield is a service that protects websites from DDoS (denial of service) attacks. Millions of dollars in revenue are lost every year due to downtime as a result of DDoS attacks. The service does not require you to buy any equipment, or change your hosting provider. You simply point your DNS to the Proxyshield network, and the traffic is scrubbed before passing clean visitors to your website. For instance, the famous website milliondollarhomepage.com was attacked during its peak by extortionists and Proxyshield got it back online. Joker.com's nameservers came under attack, taking down thousands of customers, and Gigenet's Proxyshield was able to mitigate the attacks and bring back all of their customers. Starting at $1000/mo it's a very cheap insurance policy for most businesses, and they

Ornaments

I just have to tell you about the beautiful ornaments I have decorating my tree. My favorite ones are the Wizard of Oz ones, in which each character is knitted into a plastic backing. I got them when I was a kid, and I still love them. In fact, now I have two Westies, that are very similar to the dog in Wizard of Oz, although that one was darker--a Cairn or a Scottie. Tanya

Hi there, As you know, I've been writing about holiday gifts for awhile now. I get really excited about the holidays, and I use it as a time to buy gifts for all of my loved ones. I love to think about great presents to buy people, but we all have that one person in our family who seems to have everything. What in the world can we buy for them? Well, I've found this great new Christmas Gift Guide that aims to solve that very problem. The site www.1giftidea.com has a great page about the "rules" for giving gifts at Christmas, and they really know their stuff. I learned some great etiquette information, and I came away from the site as a more seasoned Christmas shopper. You'll be glad you did. Happy Holidays! Tanya

Phillips DiPisa Healthcare Recruiting

Image
Hi there, Since the holidays are coming, I just wanted to let you all know about the Phillips DiPisa Thought Leadership Library , so you can continue to think about your health and the health of your family, even when you may temporarily be living a less-than-healthy lifestyle during the holidays. As we all know, after New Years, most Americans make resolutions to live healthier, and the Phillips DiPisa initiative is around to help people stick to their resolutions and inform them how to create healthier lifestyles for themselves. Phillips DiPisa is a leading healthcare executive recruiting firm. If you check out their website, they have numerous articles on important topics, including hospital succession management, the role of the Chief Medical Officer, and diversity in healthcare workforces. Personally, I think that all Americans, and all people in general, should be well educated in the health care sciences, but there are few venues where people can get the information they need.

Hey Everyone, I want to tell you all about a great new company, called Repvine , that empowers users to collect and display references. Are you interested in your online reputation? We all are! Well, due to the fact that the Repvine provides relevant information about you, search engines tend to pick it up and display it when people look for you on the web. So if you're interested in learning more about Repvine, here are some salient points I learned about the site: 1. It is a controlled environment - not a hot or not site, which means you invite people that you feel will give you a good reference. 2. You can vote on how useful each reference is. 3. You can vote to say whether or not you agree with how people see themselves. This point is great for those puffed shirts who see themselves as the greatest people in the world--I once had a boss like that! The site comes with a "challenge phrases" section in which you can say that you are a "great tipper" and then

Another box attack

Hi there My boss has been extremely crazy about all of our boxes being perfectly square, and it's driving me crazy. Last night I spent some time with Suice to cool off and relax. She was actually being pretty nice, as opposed to her normally snippy nature. I think it has to do with her recently starting to date this former-taxidermist-in-training named Tave. I think he's working in construction now. Anyway, she seems really happy. Tanya
